What You Will Be Doing

-Design and planning of healthcare environments of all scales, from large hospitals to thoughtful renovations of complex hospital departments

-Work with clients to identify objectives and formulate options

-Ability to effectively lead Clinical User Group meetings and participate in client presentations to the highest levels of hospital leadership

-Proven ability to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction

What You Need for this Position

-15+ years medical planning experience on large, complex hospital facilities

-Bachelors of Architecture Degree (or equivalent) required; Masters in Architecture preferred

-Architectural License required

-LEED accreditation or within 18 months of hire

-Understanding of programmatically rich healthcare projects from concept design and programming through construction administration

-Experience coordinating and facilitating client user group meetings and developing all related deliverables

-Experience presenting to hospital leadership and leading them through the decision-making process

-Experience marketing Healthcare projects - developing proposals, presenting to potential clients

-Familiarity with issues surrounding innovative healthcare strategic planning, master planning, programming and design

-Familiarity with healthcare design literature and evidence-based design research

-Ability to lead and manage in-house team of medical planners and coordinate external consultants

-Ability and interest to manage, design, document and execute small projects independently

-Exceptional listening, written, verbal and graphic communication skills required

-Proficient in Revit with 3D modeling skills preferred

-Adobe CS4, Sketchup, 3DStudio Max and/or Form Z a plus

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
