The Upjohn Finance and Global Supply BT Technical Lead will lead a solution delivery organization and a mix of subject matter experts who are directly engaged in the agile implementation of Upjohn core enterprise solutions spanning across several functions including Finance and Manufacturing.
The leader is adept at agile solution implementations assuring that experts are effectively embedded in key delivery processes and core solutions delivery is optimal to meet enterprise roadmap requirements and milestones.
The leader sets enterprise solution strategies working with service teams and leads the delivery of a holistic fast, agile, and flexible enterprise solutions platform.
The leader will be responsible for establishing modern solution delivery embracing automation, continuous integration, continuous compliance, DevOps, etc. while collaborating with the compliance organization.
The leader will support the creation and launch of digital products, services, technologies, and experiences to increase the effectiveness and overall user experience of the Finance and Global Supply functions.

Set strategy for the Upjohn core enterprise solutions roadmap for Finance and Manufacturing inclusive of core capabilities release date, data integration strategy, and user experience design
Delivering agile solution design and implementation expertise for all infrastructure, operations and security capabilities with direct engagement on core enterprise solutions implementations
Determine infrastructure delivery strategies to support core solutions implementations with modern solution delivery patterns
Lead full technical delivery from non-functional requirements setting through release into operations and sponsor the adoption of industry agile frameworks
Modernize solution delivery patterns and SDLC to gain measurable performance and agility gains that will help to achieve the goals of the Upjohn core enterprise solutions roadmap
Lead agile solution engineering, architecture pattern development & provisioning design to modernize and speed up Upjohn's core platforms delivery roadmap
Develops solutions to highly complex and unique problems in the Finance and Manufacturing core solutions space, and is accountable for decisions within the UFGS BT department
Responsible oversee and influence an environment of continuous improvement and innovation balancing acceptable levels of risk-taking towards driving innovation, modernization, agility and speed of delivery
Is responsible for growing and maintaining a technical talent base anticipating longer-term development needs
Partners with customers, Business Partner teams, Technical Product Owners and organizational leadership to accomplish Upjohn enterprise-wide objectives.
Clearly and regularly communicates with management and technical support colleagues
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 12+ years of application development, solutions design, operations, and lifecycle management
8+ years of experience in a leadership capacity with increasing scope of responsibility, including demonstrated experience in developing skills among direct report colleagues
5+ years of experience in client facing roles where delivery obligations are achieved working with multiple teams
Demonstrated Finance or Global Supply business acumen preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, and ability to stay abreast of business issues that impact solution teams
Recognized as a technical and functional expert in the delivery of scalable enterprise solutions
Must have a proven understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Enterprise Performance Management processes to ensure adherence of solution delivery and product design to business requirements
Must have proven experience in being an engaging leader and manager, with proven capabilities in using the talent and succession planning processes to establish plans for managing talent inside and outside the organization and for improving diverse leadership bench strength
Must have proven the ability to use communication to ensure alignment of strategies and day-to-day operations to team members and business partners to deliver customer-centric solutions and services
Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiations with cited impacts to strategic direction and solution roadmaps
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
Ability to lead in a complex environment with resources distributed globally.
Demonstrated capabilities with software development processes, systems design and development management, testing (unit, systems, end-user acceptance, performance, and load) and systems integration.
Demonstrated ability to manage large complex global programs consisting of capital and operating expenses and virtual teams.
High level of awareness of internal and external technology trends with strong attention to detail and high standards of quality and customer value
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
Supervision: Expected up to 5 direct reports and 100+ contractor/ consultant at time.
